Got a great deal on both of these pedals brand new from Sweetwater.

I plan on using one for a nice crunchy rhythm and goosing it with the other for a heavier rhythm tone (not sure of the order or duties yet). Already thinking about getting home and playing through these guys.

Anyone have any exprience with either?

I'll be using my parts-o-caster tele, a JA-90 tele with TV Jones magnatrons, and my Goodsell Super 17 w/ a alnico blue in it.

I have a feeling they are both going to sound great.

I have the Open Road and really love it with most guitars and amps, and it stacks incredibly well with other overdrives and boosts-enjoy!

You're going to fall in love with that Red Llama.

It's one of the nicest Overdrives I've ever had. Very dynamic and amp-like.

yeah I'm excited about it. I'm going to have to experiment with the pedal order. I have a feeling I am going to be torn on which to use as my base dirty tone.

The clips I have heard sound different but both great.

Open Road set low into Red Llama set noon or higher should be delicious.

Thats what I'm hoping. I only got about 10 minutes with them last night. My initial impressions are that they are both really nice pedals and great values.

I'm hoping to spend a lot of time with them this weekend. Now that I have a 9 month old play after dinner but before her bedtime gives me about 15-20 minutes.

Need to get the basement finished right away.
