Red Witch Moon Phaser vs. Moogerfooger 12 Stage Phaser vs. MXR Phase 90 74´ Reissue
What do you mean by vintage sounds? I have not played the Moogerfooger, but of the other two I like the red witch better (I like that it is more organic-sounding, to me, and I like the tremophase settings, too)...but that does not mean it is more "vintage".
moog is the best sounding phaser out there
yeah i like the red witch and the moog both a lot better than the MXR but the MXR is the only one that will really do "vintage" for you I think
Don't know about the Moog.
I had the Red Witch but prefer '74 MXR (which is also much less expensive). I also use the HBE phaser for some more extreme phasing.
I also had the '74, and have replaced it on my board for a Retro-Sonic Phaser. I like the control scheme, as well as the tone a little better.
+1 the RetroSonic seems to be the best for vintage sounds
