I just ordered another pair of custom 12'
    guitar cables from Redco Audio,
I just like them 12' so there's less to trip over.

Just use their build your own cable link.

I've had another one just like them several years old now
and it has really held up and served me well.

I really like the spring supported Canare F-15 cable connectors
You can special order extra support, color coded shrink wrap on the cable
    ends if you wish.

Cable Length: 12 ft (unbalanced instrument cable)
    Cable Type: TGS-HD Redco Instrument
    Connector 1: F15 Canare Male TS(1)
    Connector 2: F15 Canare Male TS(1)
    2 US$25.00 US$50.00

You can upgrade to Canare or Mogami if you wish
but the House Redco cable is great.

But you have to stand really close to the amp. Really REALLY close.

Their cables are good. I ordered bulk cables and connectors so I can make custom length XLR cables at home. Nice quality and cheaper than buying over priced cables from big name stores.

They also built my 8' Custom 12 AWG speaker cable with the large barrel connectors
and my 3' custom Y jumper cable for my Gemini I
    and my Reeves.

Yeah, I've made three cables out of Mogami cable and Amphenol connectors, all purchased from Redco.

Nice clean work and smart using extra shrink wrap to support the cable
    out of the connector.

Redco's house cable is pretty great. Great price too.

I've seen no real reason to upgrade beyond Redco House Cable.

If you have any questions, Chris is very helpful.

I love being able to custom color code each cable if I wish
so I can keep track of all my cables when packing up.

They've got a good selection of colored heat shrink
which also better supports the cable coming out of the connectors.

Looking to make a 4CM cable - really only need three internal cables in the snake (effects send/return & send to amp), but I guess it doesn't hurt having an extra cable in mix. Seems to be a good way to make a fairly cheap snake if you are good with a soldering iron. I plan on going with straight 1/4" connectors and using the right angle adapters when the need calls for it.
