Refinish on a super strat

    I didn't like the non rounded edges so I took it apart re rounded and refinished. This time I used an orange stain in between oil coats to pop the grain. I rubbed it through in some spots and I like the worn finish look so I reassembled the monster and here are some pics.

    The orange really defined the differing zones.

    Still on the hunt for the dark figured African mahogany in a 4" thick, 7" wide, 21" long chunk to book match.

    That looks awesome! You're going to have to play with your teeth, like Hendrix, just so people can see the beautiful back. Great job!
