    A little intro...
I've been a drummer and part time singer in a couple of working bands for the past 5 years. I like to think I am a "good" drummer...play to serve the song...less is more. [IMG] Hold things together when the other guys run into difficulties. [IMG]

I'd been a "hobby" guitarist for 20 years before that...

For personal reasons, I've kind of hung up the sticks and been back working hard on guitar for about 4 months. Trying to get back to where I can Gig as a Rhythm Guitar player. I miss playing out... [IMG]

Engineer by trade and I'm an admitted Gear hound and tone chaser...

One of my favorite TONES is my Tele through a Fulltone OCD into a little Fender Reissue Champ. [IMG]

On the other end of my tone spectrum - my Wolfgang, a Cable and my EVH 5150 III...

I like both ends of this range and most stuff in between! [IMG]

In heavy "sponge" mode, learning and trying to come up to speed.... Playing everyday!

    Chris

You should have rhythmic phrasing in your blood after all the drumming so rhythm guitar should be easy and fun.

PS: Me thinks any guitar player should try to play a rhythm instrument to develop rhythmic senses.
