Sorry to resurrect an old thread, but I love the info! I am goofing off with modding a Boss SD-1 circuit that I want to rehouse (as I am learning more about pedal building) and am wondering if you could tell me what type of power jack you used? Any product links would be helpful as well.

    Thanks!

Also, one quick question: I recently modded my SD-1 using a Monte Allums kit and in the kit instructions he mentions not to fully disassemble the pedal as it will lift the ground and render the pedal useless. When you did your re-house, did you have any problems with the ground lifting and causing an issue with the new pedal house?

    This rehouse makes practical sense.

In case anyone who follows this thread is in the same boat and needs some direction on parts, I've rehoused my Boss SD-1 and thought I'd share what I used to accomplish the rehousing.

First, the switch on my very old SD-1 started to go out some months ago. So rather than toss the pedal, I decided I wanted to try out this pedal modding thing ya'll around here are so good at. I picked up the Monte Allums SD-1 mod, and also decided rather than replacing the Boss switch I would attempt a rehouse of the pedal for the fun of it (thanks to this thread for the info!).

So here are the results and a list of all the parts I used:

    Mod kit:
    - Monte Allums SD-1 mod: http://www.monteallums.com/pedal_mods_SD1.html

Here are the parts used for the rehouse:
    - 125b enclosure: https://www.pedalpartsplus.com/product-p/1088.htm
    - White pointer knobs: http://www.pedalpartsplus.com/product-p/10007.htm
    - Momentary switch: https://www.mammothelectronics.com/products/kfsspst-mb
    - 3mm white LED: https://www.mammothelectronics.com/collections/3mm-- leds/products/wp7104yw1c-3mm-led-white-led
    - 3mm LED bezel https://www.mammothelectronics.com/products/4sledbz3-1bch
    - Round 9v DC power jack: https://www.mammothelectronics.com/products/4sjk-101dc

    Here is the finished product:
