    though I think the frets are kinda too shiny for guitars "of age" hehe. Of course that's a trade off on playability...

    BTW. the Fender Booth had really nicely executed relics - I complimented one of the head honchos there - I hope John Cruz is getting paid well -- seems he is doing their finest relic work over there today!!

    I think a mint green guard on a black fender with a maple neck is about as good as it gets. I have that combo on one of my strats.
