You can also use the base plate screws to screw on small squares of Velcro. Obviously, leave the backing on the Velcro. Then, simply take it off later without affecting resale value

I just stick Velcro on the rubber of my Boss pedals

Industrial Grade Velcro sticks to anything.
But you might not get it off. Ever. Super Stricky
This stuff is kinda dangerous really. It takes skin off
if you touch it, Goo Off could work? but will break
down the rubber and this stuff can be dangerous too.

I removed the rubber and attached the dual lock directly to the metal plate.

I store the rubber and if I ever sell the pedal simply remove the dual lock and re-attach the rubber to the pedal bottom.

The small bear plates are perfect for boss pedals. Less so for Ibanez since you have to drill holes. It’s soft metal and when I tried to countersink a hole it instantly went all the way through making the hole too big but on second try got it working without the countersink. Wish they would offer some drilled for Ibanez, still workable though.

On boss pedals remove the backplate then the rubber edging and re mount inside out. Then you have a smooth clean metal surface to work with.
