Repaired my les paul's broken truss rod

    I finally bought a truss rod rescue kit from stewmac and repaired my 71. ******** it made a world of difference. It had been broken since the late 80s when my dad tried to adjust it, and it snapped off.

    The guitar plays amazingly even with ****ty flat frets. The intonation went back to normal, and it actually stays in tune. Im pretty happy now.

    I used one on a strat neck. I acquired the neck free, fixed the neck (works great) and sold the neck. Paid for the cost of the tool + made profit.

    People would be quick to question the high cost for what you get but as one who's seen what cutters cost for CNC the price is not out of line at all.

    That's one of their magic tools. The bridge plate repair kit is another. Good tools aren't cheap.
