    Anybody have experience with both?

I'm looking for something without the verb and trem in a grab n go package for jams.

The Falcon is sweet, but a little too "vintage" to be hauling around. Also, it can't quite keep up with drums.

    Thanks!

Well... it still has trem and verb which I dont need much - and it's
    $1475 too much :).

I've got both, wouldn't have a problem taking a Falcon (vintage or not) it has a fantastic spacious sound and there's a monitor jack on it which would enable it to be slaved to a larger amp or pa if necessary. As an owner of many vintage amps...what's the point if they don't get played? My $.02 :AOK:AOK:AOK
