My 1967 BFVR has 2 jensen C10P's that sound really nice. Really nice. I am getting nervous about cranking the amp with these speakers. I dont know what i would do if i blow them up.
Any reccomendations for a current replacement speaker?

The Celestion G10 Golds are real sweet and rated at 40w! Haven't heard the now discontinued Reverend Alltone 1025 (10" / 25w), but I love the 1250 in my vintage '65 BFDR.

Jensen C10R or C10Q reissues are not much $$ and sound great after breaking in.

I've to second bender's suggestion. It's not a typical Fender tone, but that's not a bad thing either! I currently have one in my Vibrolux paired with a Weber Legacy 30w, which is kinda similar to a G12H. Alnico chime, and smoothness mixed with ceramic tightness and crunch...beautiful sound.
