Thanks again for the previous advice on building the pedal board...the size of my vintage Dearmond volume pedal is proving to be a liability in building this thing.

I would rather not replace it but thought I would ask for some opinions from you guys. It's a photo-cell controlled type pedal that has a very 'musical' swell to it. It's an integral part of my sound, used for faux steel parts, ambient pseudo keyboard sounds...it gets me noticed and thus gets me work...

any opinions on volume pedals that might compare soundwise but in a smaller box? The Goodrich is the only other 'photo' pedal I know of. I would love to hear from guys who use them as part of their 'thing' and not just to control the relative level of the instrument.

settling on ONE killer OD pedal will be the next 'problem' to solve...

so +1 on keeping the Dearmond and finding a way to make it work??

Have you had to replace the pots regularly? I've read alot of reviews on Goodrich's saying basically "good pedal, bad pots"

Splatt, I have a LDR-2 on order. Tell about it, does it color the sound, gain adj, tone adj, etc. Thanks, Bill
