So I really like my Cathedral Reverb and have had it for about four years but I'm trying to consolidate my board into something smaller. I also hate having to power it with a wall wart.

Any suggestions for a great smaller reverb that compares to the Cathedral?

Thanks!

TC HoF? Kinda similar to the cathedral with a bunch of reverb options, no presets though.

If you into EHX reverbs, maybe you can try their holy grail, or holy grail plus. Now I have HoF and cathedral, and they sounds totally different. So, if you dig ehx sound, HoF can be not for you. That does not mean, that HoF is worse, just different.

I'm a big fan of the HardWire RV-7. It's definitely not a boutique pedal, but I think it sounds quite authentic.

actually, boutique or not, that Digitech Hardwire +1 on the RV-7 there...those things sound incredible, of course, they are LEXICON reverb in there!

I replaced my Cathedral with a Hardwire Rv-7 and was happier...

Then I replaced my Hardwire with a Blue Sky and was happier yet...

Then I replaced my Blue Sky with a Wet and now I am most happy.

Be happy and buy a Wet.

Excellent video demo Nick. Your musical choices to demonstrate the capability and sound quality of the Context were spot on. I also appreciate that you play/demonstrate first, and talk second. I tend to dislike demo videos that are mostly talk and minimal play, as they bring to mind the old quote; "Talking (or writing) about music, is like dancing about architecture."

I really like this Ped Panda product, which is a change of pace for me.

I've gone from a Holy Grail to a Cathedral to the BlueSky to the WET and finally landed on the Flint. Most natural sounding of them all in my opinion and still has options. Plus a great sounding trem.

Agreed, I went from a Holy Grail to an RV-3 to a Wet. The only other reverb I would consider is the Eventide Space but it costs over twice what the Wet does, so I'm all set for now.
