Does it make sense to use metal film resistors in reverb circuits to cut down on noise? I know they tend to be quieter.
The amp is an old twin. It has orginal carbon comps In it that have drifted up. Will metal film take away from the reverb tone?

    Thanks in advance.

In my opinion, no. Are you talking about the cathode resistor in the driver circuit here or something at the other side?
