I just picked up a 94 Jackson Rhoads EX for $125 ! The JT580 tremelo was replaced by a Epiphone Floyd copy , neck pickup disconnected , EMG installed in bridge , hole in switch and an Gibson 3 way switch installed ! How do I repair the hole ?

Good score.

Easy fix would be drilling it out clean to the next dowel size, cutting a little hardwood dowel plug (same thickness as the top or the switch won't sit right) and gluing it in with some titebond.

Let it dry for a day, then you can re-cut that switch slot with a hacksaw or Dremel or whatever and touch up the finish - I'd just find a matching nail polish and call it a day.

I think I'll have my dad plug it for me (he's a professional cabinet maker), sand it down and paint it ! I hate it we players hack up a nice guitar !!!
