My brother is moving to Wisconsin and dropped all of his gear off for me to sell. A silver face Fender Bassmen head ser #A 44739, according to my research its a 1975-76? 6 knobs (not 7 like most pics i've seen). It needs some cosmetic clean up but has been recently serviced. Also a Marshall 4 x 10" cabinet Mod. 1965A, ser # 8337. Any help with age and pricing would be appreciated.

The bassman is probably worth somewhere between $400-600. The cab is probably worth $250-400. Check if the cab has greenbacks or G10-35's.

A SF bassman SHOULD have 6 knobs: volume, treble and bass for each channel, with a bright switch. It's a good sounding guitar amp, not much use for bass. And yeah, the 410 cab will be worth a lot more with greenbacks vs the decent sounding but inexpensive G10-30 or 35s (same speaker with a different label, IIRC).
