Those are custom pickups that are made for that Asher.
The tele sounding pickup in the bridge is wired to the tone style multi tone switch and gets everything from staight tele sounds to more mid focused tones like a Les Paul Jr.

The neck pickup sounds like an old Teisco pickup like Ry Cooder uses in his strat. It is a beautiful sounding pickup and very well balanced with the bridge.

I love this guitar...
