It's there -- it just won't display in older version of IE -- try viewing the page in Firefox.
Interesting - I was able to watch it yesterday, using Chrome, but I can't see it today - it's just gone, also w/ Chrome.

Thanks, Dana O.

I'm beginning to think i need to ad Greg v to the ignore list otherwise I'm going to have way more amps than I know what to do with? Kidding of course. Sounds great.

I'm able to see it in both Firefox and Safari but I've added a link to the original post as well as the embedded video for those who are having difficulty

Hey Folks,

Thanks for watching and glad you all dig the HD demo. Not sure why some are having problems viewing it, but hope it's now working.

Hi Catherinef,
Thanks! and yes those are some of the amps I own.

Hi Gdomeier,
Thanks! and yes, Realfi is correct: SM7 and Cascade Fat Head II ribbon room mic.

Is it possible to run an A/B/Y to channel switch or blend channels ??

I love SM7's as a close mic Greg. The Cascade Fat Head also sounded really cool from the demo you did a while back as a close mic too but I must admit I've never used a ribbon as far away as you did this time around.

I can see how in an untreated smaller room you might get some smoother reflections with the ribbon than from a condenser and get rid of some ugly side reflections being figure 8. Dunno if that was part of your rationale or if it simply just sounded good when you threw it up!

Hi Realfi,
I was excited to try the Cascade Fat Head as a room mic to blend in with the close miced SM7 and loved the results. You bring up a good point about the null-sides of the figure-8 pattern but that didn't occur to me for this demo. But the Retro King sure seemed to like this combination, esp since the amp is so balanced tonally, even when pushed into smooth breakup.

Note to amplifier companies :-

if you want to put superb online demos onto the web, contact Greg V to do it for you.

What a quality demo, i mean that was the dogs gonads . I wonder how much of a factor was having the alnico blue in the back of that amp ?
Great great tones and greg is no slouch with a guitar in his hands.
