Thursday at NAMM we announced the return of the newly redesigned Banshee v2.0.

"Completely redesigned for 2015, the Banshee is our road improved version of that winged classic we all grew up listening to. Redesigned from the ground up, we focused years of attention, brainstorming and listening to our touring artists about how to improve the Banshee. By redesigning the shape, we could add mass and open up access at the same time that further improves the balance. We spaced the controls out to be more user friendly, and made roughly a dozen other changes that cumulate in the best Banshee ever.

Built from solid Spanish Cedar to create an light, well balanced tone monster for those looking to make it through the Winter. With a scarfed head joint to improve strength, the full gambit of pickup options from the traditional Mini to P90's and full sized Humbuckers to go from Johnny to Allen."

We had a great time at NAMM with it including getting stamps of approval from our friends Matt Schofield, Tomo, Scott Holiday and many many more.

While threading the needle of being similar yet new, every single line on v2.0 is new. The neck has a more aggressive cut away offering better access, the upper bout has been extended to improve balance and offer a better strap position (back of the neck is still an option). We've completely reshaped the back of the guitar to add mass where it's most needed, changed the waistline and more. The subtle but most enjoyable change is spacing the controls further apart to increase knob options and make the life of anyone who has ever had to solder inside that cavity, much easier.

Available in 30+ "standard colors" along with near limitless custom colors, three bridge options, aging, pinstriping and the entire Wolfetone, TV Jones and Arcane pickups catalog, we can cover almost any base.

Man, soooo the most badass guitar being produced at the minute...

Make it that deep brown firebird wood colour with the best PAFs you have and I would be in heaven....aged too please!

    Sigh...

So glad the Banshee has returned. Honestly, I think I like the lines of the new version even better!

    Congrats!

P.S. Will you still be able to do a "lefty" headstock on a "righty" guitar? You know that's how I like 'em.
