I just got a Verbzilla and I'm not entirely sure if I should run it after/before delay.

    Which do you prefer?

After. If you want to get crazy sounds, try it before dirt.

I like reverb after delay. I think it smooths out the sound of the repeats a bit

I prefer it very last, as if it were in the amp. Amp -> reverb -> tremolo -> delay -> mod -> dirt -> comp -> wah -> guitar.

i asked myself the same thing receiving the verbzilla and ended up using it after. it sound more logical to me to "verb" a delated sound the delay the verb, only if you want it that way

I put my verb in between two delays (I wanted to be able to loop with my DD-20 so it had to be before that) I like them both but I use the delay pedal in front of the verb+verb more often.

I prefer my verb before. I think it makes everything sound more spacious and all around cool sounding.

I've gotten some interesting sounds by moving my RRR around my board but I prefer it last.

    I generally have it after.

But I dusted off the old yamaha fx500 and one of my favorite presets (soft focus -- aka Slowdive's first two albums) had verb -> delay -> chorus.

Thanks for all the suggestions, I've been messing around with the placement and I think I like it after delay before trem.

I like my reverb to add ambience to my tone, so towards the end and after delays is what I prefer. Putting it before kinda gives me a slight choppy reverb effect.
