Looking for a reverb pedal, I like the videos of the MP Silver Spring reverb but also I am considering the Catlinbread Topanga and the Subdecay Super spring. What ones do you guys like. Thanks

    My favs:

    Reverbs that don't necessarily mimic a spring/plate/hall:
    • Flux Liquid Ambiance
    • Mr Black Supermoon
    • EQD Afterneath

    Multi-effects digital reverbs:
    • Strymon Big Sky
    • Eventide Space

    Analog reverbs:
The tube driven spring tank in my Bassman!

sounds like you dig spring reverb. You should check out Mr. Black Deluxe Plus.

If you like just a basic, useful, inexpensive...

Hardwire -RV-7 or Mooer Skyverb. Both versatile, sound great and cheap

The Keeley Aurora just sounds NICE, and is surprisingly flexible--can sit in the mix or envelope your tone. -E

I do like the Topange a lot. And want to try the Silver Spring. The other current favorite is the Red Panda Context.

I am about to pull the trigger on a Digitech Polara, and sell my TC Arena. I think it just sounds fantastic, and looks as versatile as the Arena. I suggest that you check out some youtube demos just to have a quick idea of what it may be like

For spring reverb I like the Supernatural, RV-7, or Polara

Spring Theory is great, though my experience with digital reverb pedals is pretty limited. I think it does an admirable job of capturing the sound of a real spring reverb.

Topanga. I'm a long-time Fender reverb tank user and the Topanga gets me close enough to not miss lugging the tank around. All the other suggestions are solid--try a few if you're able to.

If you like spring and have the board real estate look at a Vanamps Solemate.

Boss RV-3! I used to think I missed not having a spring reverb setting, but I've been using the RV-3 nonstop for a few years now and it's great for big washes! Works just as well in my country / rock / pop / top 40 band as it does with my dub / ska / reggae band.

The Mojo Hand Dewdrop is nice.

I was really very happy with my mono Wet for a few years. However, when I A/B'ed it with the Dewdrop, the Dewdrop seemed to have more clarity and immediacy so I shelved my Wet and bought a Dewdrop.

I went through this a while back and did a bunch of research and testing. To me, the Wampler Faux Spring Reverb was the closest I found to a spring reverb tank.
