I have one of those few amps made these days that does have on-board verb. Since I'm expanding out my pedalboard a bit, I'm thinking of adding some verb. Any suggestions?

Tech 21 RVB provides the biggest bang for the buck in my opinion.

Tomorrow morning I'll be picking my Vanamps Sole-mate reverb from the local post office!
Well, a little larger than a traditional stompbox, but I have very high expectations for it.

I have a Sole-Mate and think it's excellent. It's a real spring reverb in a floor unit. As said though, it's not really pedal size. In fact, it's about the width of two large pedals. Worth the trouble in my opinion.

Someone over at HC did a comparison between a bunch of cheaper reverb pedals (Holy Grail, RV-3, RV-5, Reflector, and some cheapies) and the Reflector was rated highest. I have no experience with it though, but its worth looking into.

i tried the rv3 for a while. the reverb alone sounded good. the delay alone sounded good but i didn't like the way they sounded combined.

Do a search for the Reverberator and you'll quickly see why so many, including myself, swear by it.

EH Holy Grails have been my pick so far.

I've tried a lot of reverbs out there and have been disappointed with a lot of them.

I hear great things about the Verbzilla though.
