Alright, things are really starting to get moving.

The board pic is actually a few days old. They are fully populated now. I even have them on a beautiful anti-static pink foam display board.

First four Reverse Centaurs are built, but only one has been tested so far.

Here's a gutshot of the final. Sorry about the terrible quality of the photo.

I hope to finish everything up this week. Next week at the latest.

Ok folks, we're in the final phase. First four Reverse Centaurs have been tested, sound good and are ready to be signed, packed up and sent out. The second half of the batch is close as well. I'm going to start contacting folks on the list in the order they contacted me.

Here's a winchload of Reverse Centaurs being tested. FWIW, winchload is the the correct term for a group of 4 or more of these, like a gaggle of geese or a pride of lions.

The one on the left is the verification build as is there as a reference.

Note: the only approved usage method for these is to daisy chain five of them in a row. Using five at a time sounds terrible, but is very intimidating on stage, which is a worthwhile trade-off.

Ok folks, I hit thermal runaway on this one. The second batch is now done, pedals are all tested, signed, numbered and ready to rock. PMs have been sent out to everybody that committed.

For all the fence sitters, I have two unclaimed populated boards and a couple extra enclosures (that still require etching, inking, drilling, etc).

it's hard to get too excited about distortion from an op-amp but the graphic is neato!

The Reverse Centaur has been accused of not being very discrete.

He's right, though. There's basically no chance that an op-amp based dirt box will sell many units. I mean, how many of those could have sold over the last 30+ years?

Every so often, someone creates a special post that makes the world a better place. Today is one of those times. This post is one of those posts.

I shipped out a few of them this morning, so folks should have them by Friday. Hopefully, they will post their first impressions.

According to my tracking number, mine has been on a 3 day tour of Illinois. Either that or its in the backseat of a nascar doing laps.

I've got my anti-mythical custom horse hair velcro ready for its arrival!!!

No worries. It's in the hands of the greek gods now. I'm guessing it will be delivered tomorrow unless it makes a dog leg up to Toronto and then back thru Buffalo.

The RC has landed. Haven’t had time to plug it in yet. We’ll see how it compares to my af1. I’m sure it sounds like a proper klone. I like the size of the box. Mine is #4, which I’m told has a special germanium diode made from bigfoot’s ball hair.
