Single sounds like recycled outtakes. :huh

Need John Frusciante for inspiration.

took me about halfway through to figure out it was a parody; that's spot-on, a perfectly rendered recent and annoying RHCP song.

i blame it all on the success of "under the bridge", after which AK got it into his head that he was an actual "singer" now.

John being back would be a major step in the right direction for them.
Dave Navarro being back would be an even bigger step in the right direction, only problem was they couldn't handle having a guitar player in the band who actually could do more than play janky funk chords, Dave was too rock for them.. I'm a chili peppers fan, and I hate to admit, but I loved One Hot Minute, and I think I'm one of only about 9 people who liked that album.. The current incarnation of them is almost a parody of themselves.. I won't be watching the Superbowl, so I will there for have to miss out on their performance. :p

Well count me in that group. I think that album was more sophisticated than anything they have ever done. I also don't get the Frusicante love, never been overly impressed with his weak Hendrix schtick.
