Hey everyone. I just wanted to take a few seconds and Tell everyone about my recent experience with Rhomco Guitars and especially Rob who I dealt with Dircetly over the course of a new Tele build.

I got in Ctc. with Rob after seeing him Here in Thegearpage.net.

I have wanted a tele with a humbucker in the neck forever and some things worked out that made it do-able for me a little sooner that I imaged it would.

From the first email it was evident that Rob knew what he was doing and cared about what I really wanted.

I have to admit that Im probably a little odd in the sense that Ive never put much consideration into what I need to make a guitar work for me.

If I pick up a guitar and it feels good in my hands Im happy and dont concern myself with nut width, scale, Wood or weight.

Rob took a lot of time and I basically told him that Id like an Andy Summer style Tele..Burst, double bound , Maple neck and he took the time to try to help me figure what would be best for me.

Rob and I decided to drop a Pearly gates in the neck with a tap in the tone pot and a quarter pounder in the bridge position.

I had so many options available to me that I found myself leaning on Rob to ask his opinion and he was great and took the time to explain what might work best .

Ultimatley I pretty much went with what he thought would work for me across the board.

Well....A few weeks later I get a few pictures in my email and Im floored by how beautiful the thing looked.
The real test would be getting it home and playing it.

After a few days of making some potetiometer swaps and getting it just right Rob shipped it out.

It was even better than I had hoped for and played like a dream right outta the case.
(Btw..what a beautiful tweed case Rob included in the deal.)

When I plugged it in it sounded really great due to the duncan pups and coil tap so i can get a ton of great tones out of this monster.

I have yet to put this thing down and cant begin to express to Rob how greatful I am that people like him exist in cyberspace. People who go above and beyond and take real pride in their craft. People who live up to their words and do things right.

I HIGHLY recommend you guys take a look at what Robs doing.

I truly feel like I got a Custom shop build for a great price and dealt directly with the guy who put it together for me !!

What more could you ask for??

Great looking guitar. And its builder is a great guy. I traded amps with him, and he's first rate.

    +1
Rob recently built a tele for me and it is fantastic. His attention to detail is 2nd to none -

Tom Short pickups, Glendale bridge and saddles, fat chunky maple neck. For as much as I love swapping and modding gear, this is one that is going to stay as is. I would second everything toddlee said - definitely worth checking in with Rob if you are looking for a new tele.

    Garsh guys:rimshot
Thanks soo much for the comps. I love working on your ToneTeam. A;ways a pleasure to work with a player that knows what they want and knows how to communicate it to a builder.
    Thanks again,
    Rob
