Man, he changes amps quicker than George Lynch...ive seen marshall to hughes and kettner, then marshall dsl's, then divided by 13, soldano, diezel...now dumble! must be great to have any amp at your whim.
one of the things that always gets me is how much trainwreck (and 'clone') amps get props for this characteristic and yet w/ the d*mbles (and 'clones'), they seem equally as effective in that regard.
w/ my amp i can turn the master up full and the first gain up to '7' and stay on the 'clean' channel all night and get absolutely stellar saturated timbres and get a great clean sound by rolling the volume back on guitar and varying my plectrum attack.
I wonder why they don't let Richie sing more on Bon Jovi albums, not just back up vocals. I guess John will always be the front man. I like Richies version of Bad Medicine, good vocals when he is not on the talk box. His back up band was cool during this time period.
I've always loved Richie's voice and blues playing. There's a youtube vid of him trying heaps of vintage guitars in Japan a few years ago, who knows what connections he has to hook him up with an amp or two for the gig.
