I've read columns by John Wheatcroft in Guitar Techniques magazine but just recently checked out his playing. All I can say is WOW!!! Killer taste mixed with incredible chops and musicality. He definitely deserves some TGP love.

He is a monster. I've noticed that all the GT instructors are amazing players with no exceptions.

A huge nod to Quadrant 4 from Billy Cobham.

Nice. Good beefy tone too. My tastes tend to lean a little more to the angular phrasing. His linear stuff was great though!

He plays with Billy and has played that song a time or two I would guess.

Ha! The keyboardist was comping like Quadrant 4 and the drum groove was nicked too..... Yeah, they were basically covering it.

    Dude is smoking for sure.

I do think he sounds great. Not at a Henderson or Holdsworth or Birelli level but damn good for sure. Hell of a lot better than me, that is for sure!

Incredible technique and command of the instrument.

I'm not really hearing a unique voice, though. A helluvalotta notes, and some nice bluesy riffs thrown in, but I kinda wish he'd slow down and say something.
