rip and thank you for everything you gave us

I remember the first time I saw Eddie, he was playing in Eddie and the Rockets at Kennedy Park in Hayward

Later when it was Eddie Money, our band played with him at the Alpen Glow/Tuckett Inn, Keystone, Longbranch, Santa Cruz Civic, Sant Cruz Vets, Hayward Vets, and other venues,
by that time and just before the first release, Gene was playing drums and Jimmy was playing lead
    Eddie was a nice guy
the band was a nice bunch of guys

    A nice guy Eddie
a few years ago he donated his time to perform at a fundraiser for a common friend who was battling cancer,
Eddie played with a bunch of bay area guys and raised a bunch of money for our friend's family

RIP Eddie. I've been listening to his "No Control" album a lot lately, after recently ripping my old LP to digital. Great record. I really dig his vocals and the playing on that album is terrific.

I'm super bummed about this. I passed up an opportunity to see him live and was already kicking myself for it hoping I would have another chance...

I played some of his songs with him, unplugged, on a radio show in the 80's. Nice guy. RIP

Aww, that sucks! Great songs, and always seemed like a good guy. I think of 70 big time rock star years equal to 90 for the rest of us. RIP Eddie.

RIP... I remember reading that his health was failing.
He was an unique singer: you knew who he was, when his songs were played on the radio.
