I have been playing Remo drumheads for 45 years. Aside from a brief flirtation with Evans, it is all I have ever played. The man was a visionary who changed the face of percussion forever.

I even have one hanging on my wall.

No idea that the Remo behind the drumheads and drum pads and all was still alive. Definitely used my share of Remo stuff during my foray into drums and percussion as an early teen.

Was watching the Disney Music Awards last night with my 8 yr old daughter. Animal (the Muppet) was clearly rocking Remo heads.

He was also a pioneer in the use of rhythm in wellness.

If any of you are on FB, follow Mickey Hart from the Grateful Dead. He was a close friend of Remo Belli, learned a lot from him and often shares insights into the effects of music and rhythm on wellness and social and emotional benefit.

Remo (the company) continues to make some of the best affordable percussion and sound-effect instruments available, especially the lines aimed at introducing young people to music and percussion.

His influence will be missed; his name will go on as the Fender or Gibson of the percussion world.

I've been drumming longer than I've been guitaring. I've never played anything other than Remo heads. The new Powerstroke 77 is amazing on my snare! Remo Coated Vintage Emperors and a PS3 on the kick!!! Doesn't get better.
