Post or Daily News now reporting.

The first Cars album was a big part of my musical youth and transition from "Classic Rock" to more "modern" music.

    RIP :(

    Ah man, that sucks. :(

I love The Cars, as well as his production work with Weezer.

Just read a link from NBC New York. Passed away at 75. That's sad.

What a music life - player, songwriter, producer, A&R man. Thanks, Ric.

    Damn.

What an incredibly talented songwriter he was. The Cars albums have some of my favorite music of my entire life.

Geebus. Thanks for lettin' the good times roll, Ric Ocasek. Brush that rock and roll hair and let your stories be told. You gave me some great memories back in my early days. You will be missed. Hope you are laughing and sharing stories and jamming with Ben Orr right about now.
