Robben Ford Style Backing Track

Here is my take on this terrific Backing Track, which I believe even came from this forum... but ended up on the Les Paul Forum (with permission).

Good job Moe! One of my fave backings! You done good bro.... Nice feel and phrases. I like to hit some of the "color" notes over that A7alt that follows thw D-7. It is such a nice change!

Sorry to revive the "dead" thread, but I just saw this thread and was inspired your guys' playing (e.g. of many, scott l).

So I pulled out my GNX4, turned it on the "Eric J" setting just for fun practice ... but recorded practice "just in case." On the third practice run I got wildly luckily (relative to my own ability or lack thereof) ... and landed a keeper.

Even a blind squirrel gets a nut sometimes (maybe) or I'm not objective like I usually am.

Anyway, here's my "take."

I need to get back to learning the music theory stuff (I'm an idiot there and am forcing myself to get started despite the total frustration) so I can understand what the heck you guys are talking about and hopefully improve my playing.
