Video didn't come up. Here is a link:
Robin Trower can burn the house down.
And he's still got it too...
Such a great player. Looks like he was playing his Marshalls through Fender 2x15 cabs.
Robin still brings it, with the only differences between those two videos being his wardrobe and hair cut (hippy to grandpa) and he conserves energy by toning back his guitar face expressions.
I saw him in a small club a couple of years ago, and he was as good as he was when he first wrote these tunes.
One of my favorite guitarists of all time. I love listening to him. Truly awesome.
One of my all time favorites, saw him several times beginning in his heyday, about 1976. Master of not only the guitar face, but the vibrato as well.
It's amazing to me that he was playing baseball stadiums in the 70's, and these days still packs the clubs whenever he plays. He's had just about the perfect career IMO.
That was great.
Robin Trower is baaad.
Such a great player who writes some really beautiful and soulful music. He is also one of the nicest people you will ever meet. Real class act for over 40 years and still going strong!
One of my favorite covers: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VtPp44srVOw&feature=related
