This guy is just an insane player. I never get tired of watching him. He seems to like to share his knowledge of music and do video tutorials as well. The second video as a really killer lick in it that he breaks down. The guy is just a genius!

I really dig his “play like Yngwie in 5 minutes” lesson.

Absolutely my favorite "heavy" player. His range is astonishing.

The guy's always been a great player but what I wanna know is, what happened to his foot that he got stuck with that nickname?

His wife is a Veterinarian and if I am not mistaken he came across the term helping her study for exams...Bumblefoot is a bacterial infection on the feet of birds, rabbits, etc.

Yeah, they need him on the show all the time. I loved watching the videos of him covering those songs!

His talent level is off the charts.
This thread has inspired me to finally turn one of my guitars into a fretless, since I have all this unexpected "downtime".

I hear ya. I would love to give the fretless guitar route a chance. I have tried it before and did pretty well but I need to really give it a chance one day!

If the Paul Gilbert camp goes off this summer, Ron will be an instructor there.

    I've posted it before, but...
I saw him with Yngwie, and Gary Hoey, and I really thought Ron might be the one I wouldn't get into so much.
    He stole the show.
Not only an incredible guitarist, but had really good songs, and delivered them flawlessly.

He had a great rapport with the audience as well.
I'd see him again in a heartbeat.
