The bridge has totally seprate pieces for each string. I have not seen it in person, but it sounded like a good idea and Ron seems to like it. Goes clear through the body via a rectangular hole. It is a 2Tek

Black Korina. Standard wood for the Thorn Socal is white or black Korina. Ron has a huge stack of these woods

Love the wood and the mini's, but I just can't get past the look of the 2Tek. I really like the sound/feel/look of a 3 brass barrel bridge on a Tele-type anyway.

I was considering the Atmosphere guitar Ron had available, but the 2Tek swayed me away.

What kind of Minis is he using in that? And you will have to post clips when you get it. I am planning a build with dual minis and a Hannes bridge, and your guitar just confirmed my plans. It looks sweet!! Cant wait to see it all done. And I dig the Thorn neck joint!!
