Maybe I’ll explain it, after I driver somewhere to grab a bite.
No need, I forgot what it was about. I just had to stop working and take a break and grab a bite myself. I am cleaning out my shop to prepare it to build another rig. I have a low wattage 18, out of curiosity I am going to build a cab for it and see how it acts as an extension cab, to see if one of my 22 watt heads will drive it.
Enjoy your meal.
You all know what the word “wanker” means right?
It’s a verb, right?
It varies depending on whether the person saying it is a guitar player or not.
It still means the same thing, either way. It’s just a matter of whether it’s literal or metaphorical.
A wanker is one who wanks. “Wankering” isn’t a thing. It’s “wanking.”
Or which side of the pond one resides on...
One meaning describes guitarists who , when not having anything musical to say, try to compensate by trying to be dazzling by playing a whole bunch of meaningless notes real fast.
The other meaning describes drummers.............................
He's pretty much said so in a few interviews.
What exactly did he survive? Drunkeness? Please people - don't glorify Musicians lifestyles - Ron Wood for everything he was as a guitarist - he was also
a drunk fool. He barely survived his escapades. And he's lucky to still be playing with the Stones.
Agree 100%. I watch videos with him in there and feel pity for him and his family. Serious drinking problem.
He says he is clean and sober these days. Don't know if any of that is true.
I was talking about his cancer scare, but thanks Dad.
Hope it's true.
His Slide On This album was a lot of fun.
One of my fave tracks:
He had a cancer scare because he smoked and drank like a fool.
Pope Francis, everybody!
Knock it off dude. We can talk about our favorite guitarist and still be cognitive of their extremely bad habits.
Regardless of your opinion of said bad habits, he has indeed survived after some real hard living. People have demons. Why so judgemental?
By all accounts he is doing quite well and sure played well on this tour. Comes off as very grateful and humble for the life he has.
You asked me to stop glorifying his choices. I did no such thing. So I suggest you climb down from your high horse and save your sanctimony for somebody who deserves it.
If you’re looking to your guitar heroes to be role models, well - you must be really fun at parties.
