K... so it was time for my once a month moment of semi inspiration.

Of course, as usual... I then heard Scott Lerner's version of this tune and considered becoming a plumber... but I figured he'd probably do that better as well... so what the hey right?

    Here's mine:

Any clogged drains out there :)

Holy Shniblets! Amazing playing HJ! I can't hold a can of solder flux to this effort! Amazing articulation as usual.... I really need to get together with you. My playing needs an infusion of Jacobson! Loved that sustaining note ;) How loud were you?

I'll add that your vibrato is amazing!

Harry I love the melodic phrasing through the changes. Reminded me at times of my bud Barry Richman! Especially in the last parts.....

    Hey thx guys... :)

The first and last sections were my blue chambered strat into the Sans Amp, pushed by a Tim pedal and into the clean Marshall. I then layered that with my Roland VG-8. I created a somewhat synthy horn patch for it.

The middle section was my Godin Flat 5 into the same setup without the VG-8 layer.

I was playing pretty softly for this. Unlike the clips I did with the cranked SonicCord amp.

Barry and I had chatted years ago and traded CD's. He's a monster 'fer sure

Amazing feel for the music. After listening to your take I realized I have been going down a road with out any sense of the surroundings. I have been playing that backing for months thinking this is great. I now see a whole new way. Thanks for letting me know how beautiful music is.

That was ridiculously good HJ. Very inventive and creative -- many people tap out of ideas halfway through, but not you.

Very Nice and articulate! I'm reminded of a phrase from BB King talking about SRV and his ability to keep the ideas flowing (and Im paraphrasing here) "some players play for a while and stop and play for a while and stop ...cause their out of ideas, very few have the ability to continue and keep the creative flow going"

Harry you are one these cats...keep up the great playing!
