She lost in 48 seconds to Nunes, she took a bad beating.

    Is MMA over for her?

Everything is over for her. You think any endorsement deals will stick around or that she will be asked to star in some movie?

Why do you put fight results in your message title?

I just got home and was ready to watch!

Please don't tell me to stay off the forum so it doesn't happen. I avoid news and sports sites so as not to see results. People here are generally courteous enough to restrain themselves.

    Spoilers in message titles suck!

There is an "official" MMA/UFC thread for you to jump up and down in. Use it!

Hope she saved her money. She had garbage trainers and you can tell she doesn't spar with real boxers, completely relying on wrestling can only get you so far... I saw this beat down coming a mile away.

I think she can still do movies or model, when she cuts down to the weigh-in weight, I think she's pretty dam hot.

She might have to take a few years away from major media, but Im sure she can still make money off her fame. Just never ever ever ever fight again, she's got exposed by Holme and it would take 5-6 years of training to catch up. I say she retires.

    Very sorry.

I did not even think of that.

Very predictable result IMO. A very clear instance of marketing vs reality. Sometimes reality hits hard.

It's been requested repeatedly and there's already a UFC thread covering it.

Rousey's Judo is actually fantastic. She's translated it to MMA better than about anyone before. However, she has a con man as a head coach who seems to think she'd make a good brawler. Travis Browne moved from Jackson's MMA to to the same gym and he has moved from journeyman fighter to joke.

The point is that I just wasted money on the PPV.

Why bother watching when results are advertised?

Hopefully she can handle this defeat better than the last one.

That was one of the biggest arse kickings I have seen in the UFC. No resistance at all.

Rousey is done as a fighter. There's no comebacks after a defeat like that. I doubt Hollywood will be knocking on her door anymore either.

Kind of off subject, but I never see this mentioned in any MMA threads-

the "Fight Professor", Stephen Quadros, is an awesome drummer who used
to be in a popular LA band called Snow with Carlos Cavazo.
