I have really been struggling with the taper on the standard CTS pots, the drop-off is just too drastic right around 8.5 on many of them. It's been very frustrating...until now.
I've just completed 2 new guitars using the RS Super Pots for the Volumes and could not be happier. The roll-off is perfect, very consistent and smooth. It is how a Volume should be.

Thank you Turbozag and the other folks at RS for making a product that has made my life easier...and my guitars better :)

    Good deal Ron.

Can I assume you'll be using them on my Thorn SC#02? Also let me say, if Ron likes them, they gotta be good!!!

    Good job Rs Relics!!!

    Thanks Ron!

As I've stated before, we're honored to have our product in Thorn guitars!

Thanks also for taking the time to mention it here Ron.

Take a look at the product description on the RS Guitarworks Store.

The taper is custom designed, which is very important. We also use a 550k target resistance instead of the normal 500k, and the tolerance is cut from 20% to 10%. The shaft is brass vs aluminum, and the resistance path material is old-school carbon.. That pretty much sums it up...

I don't see the "Super Pots" listed on the RS Guitarworks site... only CTS. Can someone post a link, please?
