Right on! I dig 'em. Cool of you to put them up.

Has some crunch for sure. Any clean clips sent your way?

Give us the details Dennis! Good job.

Many, many thanks to Bobby for hosting these clips and for posting this thread. I really appreciate it ... and know that he had plenty of problems trying to get them up.

Anyway, a short story ... a friend showed up at my house a week before the holiday and dropped off a 2000 R9, and a Grosh set neck (much like a Les Paul)!! Wow! And by some miracle my wife and child were not home. :)

So I just plugged in and turned on the tape to see what they sounded like.

These clips are all Grosh ... except the last one ... that's an ES345.

2-12 Divided by 13 cab with 12H30-75 and 55 Scumbags.

    Fralin humbuckers in the Grosh.

Clips 01 and 06 are the regular channel ... around 11:30 on a clock ... or about 4 and 1/2 on a numbered knob.

Clips 11 and 13 are the click channel on about 3 1/2- 4.

06 Track is a pretty raw mix of an old Creedence tune.

No attenuation and reverb added right before tape.

Sorry for the clambake ... someone asked for warts ... you got it!

    ;)

I'll try to get more recorded soon (i.e., clean) ... but with a day gig and a 2 year old, "soon" is pretty relative. I'll do the best I can.

Hope this helps some of you.

Please ask questions if you have 'em.

    And thanks again Bobby!!!

    Have fun,
    Dennis E.

wow the amp sounds like it has some pretty thick girth in the low end.

decent tone, and nice playing (better than me) ;)

Way cool tone....i dig the throaty midrange tone. I'd love hearing clean clips as well.
I am wanting to hear the SJT10-20 but havent yet had a returned call from the shop to see if I can come hear it.

Would you say the 37 and the 23 are about the same volume? How about the 37 at 1/2 power?

Great clips; I particularly like the track with the accompaniment. Love how that amp sits in the mix.

    Links don't work.

BUT... I played the smaller, one-channel version of this, the RSA 23s. I thought it sounded awesome, so I can only imagine how this one sounds. Volume down, great clean at living room level. I mean, great clean (to my ears). About halfway up you start to feel the burn. I wonder if Fred would do this one or the big 23 with reverb on the clean side?

Whoa ... yeah, those links are way dead.

I still have the clips on my pc, but no way to host them.

If you want to hear them, and have a fast internet connection, PM me and I'll send them to you.

    Have fun,
    Dennis E.
