Many other brands like tc, digitech, ehx... are releasing some new and interesting stuff.. but hear nothing from Boss..
Did anybody hear anything about new boss stuff coming out??
I'm dreaming of a multi-mod stomp or a stompbox modeler.. and less COSM stuff.. But i know it's just a dream!

I think they've done well with the Power Stack and Combo Drive; it would be cool to see them do a Dumble-esque/Mesa smooth lead pedal, but I'd say just buy a MI Tube Zone. They've got a ton of products out now, but other companies are really blazing new trails.

I had a GT-10 (BRIEFLY) and it blew my mind how much easier (and better sounding) the Line 6 M-series is.

The DD20 still has an incredibly unique sound to me that I haven't quite heard in other delays, even really good ones. I think they'd do very well with a DD30...same basic pedal but with a more functional looper and perhaps midi capability.

Great idea as I thought the 4 presets was a great feature
which of course left me wanting more and midi capability would be excellent.

I wouldn't mind if they started a dirt of reissue line to bring back some of their pat designs like the dimension C, PH-1, and who can forget the DM-2. Use components like they used to when they were made in Japan. I know I'd definitely pick some up

Problem is those parts like the MN delay chips, the opamps used in the OD-1 and DS-1 etc...are long obsolete. When the parts supply dries up so do the original pedal's production.

The biggest problem is that Boss management doesn't see the point of reissues. Pedal XX2 is assumed to be better than pedal XX1.

I would like to see this! Make some limited runs on the OD-1, DS-1. Do it for the dedicated person that has bought Boss pedals all their life and stuck with then throughout the years. If MXR and Ibanez can find rare components, so can Boss.

I dont think that "hard to find" components are reason because other big manufacturers are not using them anyway. For example Ibanez TS808 Reissue is all made with current production parts, no "NOS mojo" parts in it.

All I want is an RE-2; a 4-knob version of the RE-20.

Maybe the knobs could be:

1) Concentric Volume Knob to control both the Reverb and Echo Volume

2) Concentric Knob for Echo functions: Repeat Rate & Intensity

3) Concentric Knob for Reverb Functions: Bass & Treble

4) Mode Dial 1-11

Definitely. Tap Tempo input and stereo outs too please!

Hard to find components sourced in quantities large enough to ensure production runs that will satisfy the likes of BOSS and Ibanez are the problem ...

I think Boss want to see their vintage pedals fetch consistently higher prices before they seriously consider reissues.
