    Is David Grissom running his DL4 in the effects loop of his bad cat or in the front. I like the tone of my dd20 but notice that when I kick in the overdrive that the delay notes are too overbearing. My signal is;
    guitar>wha>ocd>klon>Vol Pedal>trem>delay>stereo chorus>amp.

    send a PM to wichita here on this board-Lance Keltner is his real ID and he knows Grisson well. He is the one who did the 3 part interviews with Grissom that can be seen on youtube or go to www.guitar25.com for the link.

    I'm pretty sure everything on his pedalboard goes into the front of the amp but I'm not positive.

    well I am asking because his echo does sound so smooth and I notice that when I kick on OD or dist. my dd20 sounds a little too overbearing, and I have been reading a lot of stuff that recomends it going into the loop.

    Are you running the OD before or after the DD20? This makes a huge difference.

    I run the dd20 next to last with a chorus being the last. So it is after all dirt.

    With David it all goes in the front.
