I've just recently realized that I cant justify any new pedal purchases to go on my pedal board. Sure there are two things that could be changed out but they are they for their smaller size. Its a problem when there is no tinkering left to do.

    Im currently running

    Guitar>RMC8 Wah, Wampler Ego Comp> Poly Tune> JHS Colour Box> Klon KTR> Fulltone OCD> Skreddy Lunar Modular> MXR 10 Band> AMP
(Lunar Module and EQ ran through loop for lead tone)

FX Send>Mooer Pure Octave> MIJ Boss CE-2> Neo Mistress> Eventide Timefactor> TC Nova Reverb> FX Return
(These are run through true bypass loops)

There is no room for any more/larger pedals so Im lost with what to do from here.

    Any ideas?

I know the feeling. "Dammit, my rig is perfect, now what the heck am i gonna do??"

Start putting together a 10u rack rig (as a backup, of course).

Yeah, Ive already gone through and upgraded the electronics in every guitar that needed it as well. So that might be the next option.

Time to start downsizing...you haven't really tinkered into you figure out you don't really need half those pedals.

Think about a pedal such as an H9. It may not mean that you lose a lot of other pedals, but if it gives you enough space for one more, the H9 can do a lot of things.

Certainly a good place to be. Less time spent obsessing over owning pedals and more time to play!

Funny, but playing in a band all of my life, I have found that less is more. I have gone through a LOT of different pedals, but I always come back to the basics: delay, reverb, some modulation in one form or another but used very subtly, and not all the time.

I've decided that I will get some time-based effects but keep it in a simple format, one or possibly 2 H9's and a Neunaber Seraphim. I may not use it like a lot of players are using theirs, but it'll be the last ones I will ever need.

See, I tend to use all when playing. The Compressor and Colour box are pretty much always on, the wah is a wah, the klon is for light drive, the OCD is for medium rhythm drive, and the Lunar Module is for leads. The CE-2, Mistress, and Mooer are all for a little bit of extra flavor while the mooer is on there because I had a sliver of space and it fit. The Deley is used often as is the reverb so I cant seem to find a weak link.

I've just finished my dream board too. All midi, all perfect, musicomlab mkiv and so. What to do now? Lot of things but certainly not do any major changes on my live board. Why because it works and someday it got to stop.

But you can stop gear hunting testing and blablabla. There's a lot I'm thinking of doing.

    - Building a giant home pedalboard for fun, I mean big pedalboard.
    - Building a nano pedalboard for gigs where size matters. I'm talking about a mini pedalboard that is a replica of my live board, but with midi and such things.
    - Building a only vintage boss pedalboard
    - Building a only vintage EHX pedalboard
    - Building a pedalboard with crazy effects for noise.

This is what I've done so far :
    - Live pedalboard (almost finished)
    - Acoustic live pedalboard nano (currently fine tuning)

You'll never be done, but don't make the mistake to destroy something that fits your need and that works great.

    Play more guitar.

Or you can run a stereo setup and have a whole 'nuther board to build.

If you wanna fiddle just for sake of fiddling with something try speakers and preamp tubes.

    Otherwise just go play/practice.
