Running pedals at 16v

    Im using a BBE Supa Charger and want to try running pedals at 18v but it only has options to but them up to 16v... Would running pedals at that voltage hurt the pedal or the power supply?

    Generally, you can undervolt without damage to the pedal but I would not recommend supplying more voltage to a pedal than is recommended by the manufacturer. FYI - the 16 volt output option on the Supa Charger is designed for Line 6 effects. To achieve 18 volts of output, you would need to utilize a "voltage doubler" cable - such as this one from Voodoo Labs:
