I deleted my original thread as the title was not in good taste. Thanks to the poster who pointed that out and my sincere apologies.

You couldn't have just revised the title yourself using advanced edit or ask a mod? You had to delete everyone's comments?

Tried to revise the title, would not let me. This seemed the best way.

Very sad to hear this news. Rest in Peace, John. My condolences to his family. He was always accessible by phone and email when I ordered my LDO and Clean Boost. He stood by his product and his values. I feel fortunate to have a small part of his legacy living on my pedalboard.

Sorry to hear that...I think the LDO was the best screamer I ever tried.

    R.I.P.

I still have John's DO and Mo'D on my board after many years. Still the best TS/RAT combo I've heard. He had a great ear for tuning pedals for live battle conditions. R.I.P John.

I had the pleasure of meeting with John many times, buying his early pedals, having him work on my amps, and even having him drive an hour to our gigs. He loved music and good sounds.

John was a kind and gracious man and will be missed. Every time I look at my Landgraff/Arion chorus, I'll remember him. Almost 20 years ago, he tweaked it, rehoused it for me with true bypass, new jacks, pots and had a cool paint job as well, like a 57 chevy. Here it is, still going strong and the best chorus i have ever used (teal with red flames). Does everything from Police type stuff to great fast vibe sounds.

Sorry to hear this. I've owned a few Mo'D's and LDO's and always thought they were some of the best. The Mo'D is still one of my favorites (in fact I just bought one). High-gain TS type tones but with cut. Rest in Peace John.

    Prayers for Rose & Maddie....

The first cabinet I ever built was for John. I owe him a huge debt for appreciating my work and asking me to build more so everyone could enjoy them.
He will be remembered fondly and missed by many.

    Rest in peace my friend..

I have to wonder why anyone would post to this thread with anything but best wishes or condolences. Classless.

It's sound advice! Need I remind you of G.S Wyllie? You know as well as I do the cost will jump once word gets out, this may be your last chance to get one for a decent price.

A very sad loss indeed. Although I didn't have the pleasure of meeting John in person, we had many long phone conversations. He always shared his faith and made his faith clear in his work which is something I respected him dearly for. I bought my pedal from him directly and it's possible it may have been the last one he personally worked on as his eye sight was going out and was unable to do the work himself, so it's a great honor to own it. John is a blessed soul and will be missed by many.
