Safe to run a speaker off another speaker?

I have an amp that has a 16 ohm stock speaker and has 4 prongs on it where I can hook the wires from the amp. Can I hook up wires to the prongs that are not being used and direct them to another 16 ohm speaker without hurting my my amp?

Im assuming the amp does not allow for an external speaker? If so it probably doesnt have an impedance selector switch? Ok...back to the beginning...what amp are we talking about? Bob

I have a 1967 Watkins. Same amp as the Dominator with only a one 10" speaker.
