Just wondering what kind of gloves, eye protection and ventalation protection I should use when attempting this project. I have an old Aria Pro II that isn't worth much, but I really enjoy playing it. Unfortunately it looks like some kind of crayola blue and is peeling already. I'd like to just strip or sand down the old finish (in whichever way is safest) and then put on a natural tung oil finish for the whole guitar. I've seen few sites describing how to go about this, but I'd like to know if I need some kind of special ventilation mask when sanding and when being around the tung oil fumes.

    Thanks!

A good quality respirator with cartridges rated for VOC's will take care of the fumes from the tung oil. Nitrile gloves for the hands. As for stripping, a heat gun would likely be my first choice.
