Anyone have a Salvage Custom Pedalboard? I have one on order and can't wait! These guys make the most badass looking boards I've ever seen.
Getting mine in Zebrawood with Bourbon Burst Tweed case.

I'd rather buy a good case that isn't going to pain me to treat like a case... Kinda hipster to me as well.

Don't listen to the naysayers. Salvage makes a great product and you should be thrilled!

I ended up with a Helweg and it was hella expensive. But damn. It's sweet. I've been gigging with it for a year and a half now and it still looks new and fresh. Built like a tank.

I think you'll be very happy with your purchase. Congrats!

Great boards. Do yourself a favor and forget your ordered one. Then, when it shows up in 17 months, it's like a Christmas present.

It's funny because it's sad. You can't throw a rock without hitting a boutique wooden pedalboard builder these days, surely one of the other options can provide decent customer service.

Hope the best for you. Salvage makes the best product (until they don't). Not trying to be too negative, but the truth is that I had a less than great experience.

Salvage underwent another reboot in staff, so I'm hoping that their customer support lasts into your build. If the stars align, you'll have a great product and you'll be very happy. If they don't, then you'll be at a loss and will learn something from it.

So far Ryan has been responsive to my emails, so no CS problems thus far. Build time is supposed to be 8-10 weeks. Sorry to hear all the negative reviews. I hope (and pray) that the kinks have been ironed out and that my board kicks ass. I also didn't realize there were many boutique pedalboard builders out there.

I own 2 salvage boards and will be putting in an order for a 3rd within the next 6 weeks. Functional, beautiful and rugged.

Off the top of my head I can think of Creation, Phantom, Helweg, Recycled, West Coast, Blackbird, and Throne. I'm sure there are many more, and that's just for wooden boards.

My pedalboard case needs to take abuse. Plus I need a shoulder strap or at least wheels. Otherwise very cool.
