Satin Finish Mahogany Guitars - Show 'em if you got 'em!!!

    Trying to decide on a wood for a future build... pics would be incredible. Thinking about doing a satin finish on mahogany.

    I know it's not a solidbody, but when I think of a satin 'hog on a guitar, this color and finish tone always hits me as "right" and very organic - from my 1958 Martin 00-17:

    I don't have any Mahogany with a satin finish, but this a satin finished Rosewood Tele.

    I still have the V (a cherry faded stripped and tung oiled), the others have been since sold.

    That stripped mahogany V is what I'm talkin bout!!! very nice!

    Just a LPVM. I also have a satin-finished Junior but it's fairly opaque so you can't see the grain too well.
