    Mid to late '80's.

It was the skit where two guys (security guards or night watchmen) were standing on the street corner.

They would brag about their chances with the oncoming women, and then totally acknowledge the reality of why they were rejected.

I think it was a re-occurring skit. Who were the two guys? I want to say Lovitz and Tom Hanks, but I think I'm off.

    does anyone recall?

That's what I'm kinda insisting. Co-worker says no, but I think he is wrong. (even though I said maybe Tom Hanks). It could have been a thing where Crystal and Hanks both had a skit with the theme. God those were classic years. The name of the 2nd guy is escaping me. Short guy..."tim?"

Tim Kazurinsky and Billy Crystal played security guards that constantly complained about aches, pains, and tragic experiences. "I hate it when that happens.." and variants thereof were the catchphrase.

Exactly, yeah. I was torn between Tim and Billy, and Tom and Jon. Watching now....hilarious.

No problem. When you are like me and have seen every episode like 10 times each (even the bad ones), you remember stuff like this.

Now where are my car keys....

I think it was Christopher Guest, not Kazurinsky.

Yeah. I was 18 in 1985. Me and my roomies would vhs these and literally memorize the entire show.

That's it! Thanks! How could I have missed Nigel?

Tim was in the cast that came after them, wasn't he?

Tim was in the cast that preceded them, I think. He was in the Piscopo, Murphy era.
