Heartbreaking, My condolences to his family and all who loved him.
Prayers to you and your family. Your nephew's service is appreciated by many and will not be forgotten. May you find healing and peace.
Please take solace in the fact that he died like a soldier, serving his fellow countrymen. He selflessly put his life on the line to make the world a better place.
I hope that may help to ease your burden. I was really struck by your post. I'm so sorry, prayers for you and your family.
That's terrible, he was awfully young. My sincere condolences. What is the minimum age requirement to be a Deputy Sheriff? Seems like it should be higher than 19.
So very sad. Sincere condolences on the loss of your nephew, Deadicated.
I'm very sorry for your loss...
Thank you for your service.....
Your correct John Hurtt 19 is young to be a deputy. He was the first deputy under 21 that Glascock Co. Georgia has ever had. He was a special young man who made me proud to be his uncle in so many ways. It's easy to look back and second guess things but he wanted to protect and serve for as long as I can remember and I'm glad he got to do so even if it was ended all to soon. The day he was hired was the proudest day of his all to short life as well as the rest of the families.
Sorry for your Loss.
Prayers and Positive Vibes for you and your Family.
